Katrin Gerhardy (39) is a fashion editor & journalist, stylist and fashion designer based in Hamburg. After her school-leaving examination she took her first steps into the world of fashion with an apprenticeship as a tailor, followed by studies at the Design Department of  Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Her first job was as a fashion assistant for Men`s Health magazine. At the End of 2005, Katrin moved to Munich to work for Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin for three years. During these years she developed her unique style, her particular perspective and feel for upcoming, outstanding trends, clothes & phenomena and her instinct for features: writing texts, conducting interviews and creating content & concepts, that tell a story. 2008 – back in Hamburg, her passion became working on and in a creative environment: the German independent and high-fashion magazine TUSH. Katrin enjoyed working there for seven years – for the last three as Deputy Fashion Director, and from 2012 to 2014 also as Fashion Director for TUSH Online. Furthermore, she has worked as a stylist since 2010 – represented by BALLSAAL agency until the beginning of 2016. In addition to these jobs, she taught Fashion Journalism at the AMD Akademie Mode & Design.

Now, Katrin works as a freelance fashion editor, journalist, stylist and creative consultant.
