Katrin Gerhardy is a fashion editor & journalist, stylist and fashion designer based in Hamburg. After her school-leaving examination she took her first steps into the world of fashion with an apprenticeship as a tailor, followed by studies at the Design Department of  Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. In 2004 she founded her fashion label, where she fabricates couture accessories and niche collections in a non-seasonal way. These were shown at different exhibitions like „Première Classe“ in Paris or „White“ in Milan and in several Pop Up stores in Hamburg and Berlin during the past years. Next to this she started as a fashion assistant for Men`s Health magazine. At the End of 2005, Katrin moved to Munich to work for Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin for three years. During these years she developed her unique style, her particular perspective and feel for upcoming, outstanding trends, clothes & phenomena and her instinct for features: writing texts, conducting interviews and creating content & concepts, that tell a story. 2008 – back in Hamburg, her passion became working on and in a creative environment: the German independent and high-fashion magazine TUSH. Katrin still enjoys working there as a freelance creator. Furthermore, she has worked as a stylist since 2010 – represented by Ballsaal Artist Management. In addition to these jobs, she taught Fashion Journalism at the AMD Akademie Mode & Design until 2022.

Now, Katrin works as a freelance journalist, stylist and creative consultant & designer.
